thanks at least I know we're on the right track now. I dont need Oreo (the cat) to get any Fatter hes already 10 lbs and looks chubby

I also have a 14 yr old kitty, Tom. I feed him the same, ½ can and dry. He is now a diabetic and I have to give him a shot of insulin twice a day. Do him and you a favor and cut the can food if you can.
BTW, he is doing fine now and is about 15lbs. That is down from his top weight of 32 lbs.
