That is a very pretty cat Papakid. I can see the markings pretty well. This pic is of my mother's cat. His name is Jeter and he likes strawberries. Not to eat but to rub his face on and bat it around the kitchen. He is a great cat as long as you don't try to pick him up. I don't have a kitty cat of my own.

Strawberry Slugger, huh?

If there is one thing I know about cats (and I've had dozens) it's this:

THEY ALL HAVE PERSONALITIES OF THEIR OWN
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...

Papakid Beayay is beautiful. Have never seen one quite like him. And I have seen plenty. I do not have any of my own. Unless you count the one I feed that is a stray. He is just a everyday yellow cat. But he has a sweet face.

And Pandy girl. I can see the personality of your Mom's cat shine right through. That is a kitty with attitude. For sure.

For sure. It's like he's saying, "I just dare you to try to pick me up." :inlove:

Here's another of Beayay in different lighting. Can see some more of his coloration.

I wanted you all to see that tongue of his for a reason. I became very familiar with it. Phawgg it's true all cats have their own personality, but this guy had the most personality of any.

Beayay is just a way of spelling out BA. BA stood for three things:

1. Bad, um, Attitude.
:flowers: When I would have company over and they would sit on the couch, this cat would jump up in their lap, put his paws on their chest, look them right in the eye as if to say, "Who are you and what are you doing in my house." Even if he's met them before.

2. Baggins' Alley.
:trumpet: I had another tomcat named Baggins that was a few month older. BA constantly harrassed him so that he eventually ran off. BA would hide behind the corner of the fridge and when Baggins would walk up to the food bowl he would get ambushed by BA. I had to feed them seperately or Baggins would have starved to death.

3. Booger Attacker.
 When he was in the mood to be petted, I would be leaning back on the couch with him on my chest. He would get this euphoric attitude and get right in my face and start licking my nose. And not just the way cats groom themselves, he would dig that rough tongue up into my nostrils. Couldn't understand why I would make him stop and kept coming back for more.

 Booger Attacker? OMG Laffin"! Oh yuck! That must have been funny to see. tehe

Speaking of Tomcats. That reminds me of a cat we used to have when I was a teenager. His name was Bootsie. Well that is what we named him. He never answered to Bootsie.. he actually never answered to much of anything. He was a true Tomcat. lol We would never see him until it began to get cold outside. Every fall for about 4 or 5 years he would show up in the fall and winter with us. One cold morning we all would wake up for school and Bootsie would be there like he never left. He would stay with us all winter long and just sleep, sleep, sleep and eat. The Tomcat life in the warm months must have been exhausting because you could not wake that cat up if he wanted to stay sleeping. He would show up with ear mites and my mom would get medicine for him and get him all fixed up for the lady cats. He didn't really care much about us, except for mom. We were just a safe haven when it was cold. OMG what a moocher :flowers: As soon as it became warm again, he would go off on his own. He was the most scarred up cat you have ever seen. Scars on his face and body.. one ear torn off at the tip. He was a fighter and he must have weighed about 10 pounds or so. Well, then one fall he just never showed up. We waited for him but once winter set in for real and he didn't show up.. well we knew he must have used the last of his nine lives. Oh how I wish I had a picture of him.

Papakid.. I like the marking on your Beayay. LOL Siamese cats are neat.. but they don't like me. For some reason they love to sneak up on me and jump on my back. I had a friends who had a Siamese.. once, he jumped on my back.. took me by such surprise that I almost fell down the stairs. That was way back when I was pregnant for my first son. I think he was trying to kill me. LMAO!

We had a lot of cats as I was growing up. One in particular had several weird habits. He used to like to suck on the blankets.. or lay across your neck as you were sleeping and lick and purr in your ear.. that was not so bad (kind of pleasant actually) but he was a drooling cat too. Eeew!! LOL You would wake in the morning with cat drool all over the side of your face and neck. Oh man that was soo unpleasant to wake up to. That cat used to get thrown across the room but he didn't care he would try to come right back until you got out of bed.

Drooling cat? Never heard of that for cats. My grandmother had a pekingnese (SP?) dog that drooled and snorted.

Here's a picture of Baggins. Posted Image
I like his color and markings on his main coat on his back. Baggins was a real gentle cat and a great friend. Maybe because he was a runt. The unusual thing about him was his tail. When I first got him, the last about two inches of his tail never developed. It was dried up and dead and eventually broke off.

And here's BA and Baggins how I usually remember them. BA was always the cat on top--Top Cat.
