I use the Animation Shop 3 that comes with Paintshop Pro 8. It's a pretty good little animation maker, although i don't use it much.

My avatar is a painting of the Avro Lancaster, a WWII British bomber. I derived my name from my 6 year old mispronounciation of it. I just heard about a bumper sticker with the quote in my sig, so I put it in with a dragon-ish pic. I also want everyone to experience the goodness of Gmail!

My current sig wasnt made by me.... Someone else made it for me, the only problem is that I forgot who it was.... It was on a different forum.. Its kind of hard to tell, but there is a nazgul from LotR in the sig.......

However, recently, I have downloaded GIMP and have started experimenting with stuff and tried to make some sigs, although they arent very good... Here are three of my sigs that I made......

New to the forum!

My Avatar is a Corvette! I am restoring my 75 Vette.

My signature was devised by a friend of mine as a reply to a Star Trek email I sent him.

Well, my Avatar it's a free version of the head of Darth Vader, which was colored with Adobe Photoshop CS.
My sig is a phrase from Socrates which means: "I only know that I know nothing".
It's written in Latin.

Darthy

Nice...older 'They Might Be Giants'...w00t!

 :flowers:

Um, well, I HAD to post about that random TMBG bit, so I might as well share a shocking secret: this handle, "locally_pwned," is in fact only a back up name. For years it's been "Orca" ...for gaming, forums, messenger clients, email, you name it. I suppose the name came from the fact that at one point I was considering marine biology as a major. Well, that and orcas are pretty amazing animals. Anyway, the name stuck but the career choice didn't! As far as the "pwned" handle goes, well...I have played a lot of Counter-Strike over the years. Remember that thread, "you know you play too much fps games when..." ? Well, standing in line at a grocery store, I happened to look up and see a large sign that read, "Locally Owned." I started laughing out loud when I thought of the oft used phrase, "pwned," in CS (and other such games). So I had to use my new little "joke" somewhere...

As far as sigs..I have been on a "solar system horizon" kick lately (because I am a huge ‘space geek,’ as if you haven’t noticed) so you never know where the next vista might be... :trumpet:
