Now, that looks like a rush!!!

Note no helmet on the girl.

I don't think it would make a difference, in the event of a catastrophic failure.

Looked fun, but could've turned incredibly stupid. Are there any precautionary measures for that type of thing besides 'don't do it'??

You can tell I'm feeling my age when my first thought was, "Do they realize that cancels their life insurance?!"
Never let your computer realize you are in a hurry or just typing the last few words of a vital document.

While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

That reminds too much of an a sequence of events at my uncle's neighbor.

The man decided to do some work on the house. Thinking he might fall off, he took the clothes line and tied one end around his waist. The other end he tied around the pick-up truck. The part of the roof he was working on was on the opposite side of the house from the pick-up. His wife decided to do the grocery shopping. Not noticing the clothes line attached to the truck, she got in and drove off. Her husband came flying over the top of the house. I don't know how far she went before she stopped. I also don't know if the man was hurt. My uncle didn't feel fit to relate that particular information.

You couldn't get me to do what that woman was doing in the video. I don't even like walking on bridges. Mountains - yes, bridges or anything else man-made - no.

i didn't notice a shoulder harness. that waist belt better be cinched up tight. it would be a real bummer if your hips didn't grab.

how about doing that out into a canyon and parachuting to the bottom? i would wear a helmet if i were going to do that though.

Of course they have to have a harness on.Did you think they held on with their fingers?
I'm not worried about flying through the air,it's the stop that worries me.
What they should have shown is the landing.IMO.
When it came to the last retraction, and there wasn't enough tension left to get her airbourne
for the last time,my guess she would have been dragged considerable distance across the grass.
And I don't think that would have looked too ladylike.Maybe thats why they didn't release footage.

not simply a harness, but a shoulder harness to combat the effects of inertia.

lol, yes the landing might be a little rough.

I agree with you about the landing, and I would need a bottle of Jack Daniels before you would get me on that.I'm sure there would be a lot of stains on my clothes, and not necessarily all from the grass either. :trumpet:
