This is my Beta His name is Microsoft, He used to share a tank with 6 guppies till they refused to pay rent and he evicted them. ( I gave them to the kid next door)

When I got him he was not well, I put him in the tank he went straight to the bottom and stayed there for 2 days on the 3rd day he started moving around and eating, And has not stopped since. That was 8 or 9  weeks ago now.  Microsoft seems to have a taste for snails, And at 3 bucks each thats a bit expensive so I stopped buying them.

This was his old home

I am surprised nobody commented on the fishes name.

Microsoft

New light $90. And I am painting the back of the tank black.

Microsoft has (or did have) their own beta fish with Windows 7 & 8.

First the one that was with Windows 7 Beta.

And a stranger one for Windows 8.

I'd have to say that the ones that Nick has are better looking, as well as live ones.

There is likely a story behind why Nick named the fish Microsoft, out of all names to pick, guess we'll have to leave that part for him to tell.

Microsoft seems to have a taste for snails, And at 3 bucks each thats a bit expensive so I stopped buying them.

The clue is likely in here, though I wouldn't be surprised if the next thing that'll be needed is a 30 gallon tank.

Must have been neglected for some time, a lot of work you've put in there so far with much more to do.

We now have 6 cherry shrimp in the tank. I have never seen Microsoft move around with such purpose before I put them in the foxtail plant on the left they went to the bottom and are hiding under the driftwood and rocks which he is now inspecting in great detail , He knows there are Yum Yums in the tank It's just that he cant catch them LOL,

$ 3.50 each

I see why you named the fish Microsoft.

He's going to end up being the most expensive copy of Windows to date! :hysterical:

You'll be wanting to name the next one Apple at this cost.  :P

Do not go there, He has eaten 1, Seems this fish has expensive tastes, $3 snails and $3.50 shrimp, He has spent most of the afternoon " hunting "  It took 2 attempts to get him to the top of the tank for feeding, He looked at the food I was giving him had 1 pellet and went straight back to looking for shrimp...
